Elaine Krussow

Elaine is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and holds a graduate certificate in Trauma Studies from Union University. Prior to an education in social work, she earned her BS in Business Administration and her Master of Business with a concentration in leadership. She has experience in assessment, treatment, and discharge with the criminal-justice involved population and has worked to advance mental health training and crisis intervention efforts with the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network.
 

She is passionate about substance use recovery and she has enjoyed walking beside those who have struggled with addictions as they seek restoration. Additionally, Elaine has an interest in serving those who battle anxiety, depression, and trauma. She has employed techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.


In her free time, Elaine can always be found with a good book and a mile-long “to-be-read” list. She has competed in public speaking and debate for a decade and coaches students in these skillsets as well. She recently moved to Minnesota from the south and is looking forward to exploring the outdoors in a state that is full of natural beauty.

Elaine is providing counseling services at NewPath under the supervision of a Board approved supervisor.
